Products and areas of application

Barite (BaSO₄) is a natural mineral composed of barium sulfate. It is widely found in sedimentary and hydrothermal rocks and is characterized by high density, chemical inertness, and resistance to aggressive environments.

Due to its high density, chemical inertness, and availability, barite is an indispensable component in drilling oil and gas wells. Its use significantly improves the safety and efficiency of drilling operations by reducing the risk of blowouts and wellbore wall collapse.

Logistics and delivery

Types of transportation: rail, road, and multimodal transport.

Technological process

Stage 1: Ore preparation and homogenization
The initial ore with a particle size of –600+0 mm is crushed to –40+0 mm, washed in scrubber-trommels, and then classified on a screen.
Stage 2: Beneficiation
The crushed and washed material of –40+15 mm and –15+3 mm fractions undergoes gravity beneficiation in jigging machines, resulting in two grades of barite concentrate and –40+3 mm tailings.
Stage 3: Grinding
The obtained concentrate is dried, ground in trapezoidal mills to –1.6+0.045 mm, and packed into soft containers (big bags) of 1–1.5 tons.
